Tour Pittsburgh and its local area crafted beers, from a traditional German-style brewpub to the newest microbreweries and micro-distilleries just opening up in town. On the tour, you have the chance to learn about Pittsburgh in a new way through the history of beer.
The tour lasts about 4 hours and includes 3 stops with samples and food unique to the brewery location. Samples at each brewery are coordinated to ensure that you taste a wide range of styles, from ales and porters to IPAs and lagers to seasonal beers. See how the quality ingredients make for exceptional beers.
On the trolley there will be samples from local breweries for tastings, histories of the ever-changing beer industry here in Pittsburgh, themed music, and even a chance to win a few prizes along the way!
Our stops include behind-the-scene tours, fun tasting demonstrations, and plenty of time for questions with the "brew masters" themselves. This is a unique tour that will show you parts of the Pittsburgh area not seen on other tours!
Participating breweries/distilleries include Penn Brewery and Full Pint Brewing Company, along with participation from East End Brewing Company, Wigle Whiskey, Draai Laag Brewing Company, Laurel Highlands Meadery, Boyd and Blair, and more.
